If you have an avatar pic you wanted to use then all you need to do is go to your profile and look at the dimensions it demands. I don't do mine anymore because I really like the one that Digi built for me, but when I did do my own I found a gif that I liked on the internet and then used a photo program to resize that image to the dimensions that the forum profile called out.
