.flac to mp3/wav

i have to programs- Xilisoft and Arial, that seem to do the same thing
but was wondering if any of you knew anything about either of them?

what i am trying to do is find good program to convert flac/shn to
mp3/wav audio. and those 2 proggies are $20 each so if you know
of a good free one, that would be real nice clark.

cdex is a great program for converting sounds to any format. google it.
