a couple of hotels, and a tittie bar in walking distance. It is, however, a VERY
small town's downtown, so dont get too excited, rofl. Also, it is just over a
mile from I-85 connector, off of Ozark Rd. I will have to look up the exit #
again, =\.
The building name is The Kress Building, it is a 4 story old warehouse style
get up. It has had many different tenants over the years. We have a few
options as to where we set up shop in the place. Kevin, the owner, and I
are trying to get one our friends, an electrician, to go do some load tests
for us this week so we dont have to fux wif it.
BTW, the pics have a LOT of addresses in them, on purpose, so hopefully
that will help you all out. There is PLENTY of room to lay out sleeping bags
and shit, like for 1000 people, but you might be more comfortable at a
nearby hotel. I am renting a room at the Budget Inn, .25 miles away, at
800 W. Franklin Blvd., so anyone who needs to can shower, pass out, w/e.
It is a "motel", external entrances, not a great neighborhood, but not
bad either. There is a Holiday Inn Express right off of 85-bout 5 minutes
away if any of you are sketch balls.
Lastly, and my least favorite part, i would like to discuss "fees." I wish that
it was a situation where I could just lay it down for us all and that be that.
But, thats not the case. I humbly ask for at least a $20 donation to help
fund this weekend. If we have 15 people show up, that will cover somewhere
between 60-75% of what I estimate spending to make this happen. If there
are any questions about my math I will gladly go over numbers on AIM
or through PMs. Thanks.
