Modding W3 FZ Singleplayer campaign

I need help. How can I replace the Skins of the hero units in the Frozen throne Singleplayer Campaign?

1. Welcome to the site.
2. You have to import the skin, and then assign the unit it's skin. www.wc3sear.ch has a resource file and a tutorial on importing skins.
Oh, and usually The Frozen Throne is referred to as TFT.

But I can only assign the skin to the model in a custom map, not in the Singleplayer campaign

So you want to edit the singleplayer campaign of TFT? I don't think that's possible...

You can do it, but its a big process.

1. Duplicate your existing TFT MPQ file.
2. Open the MPQ with an MPQ opening tool.
3. Extract all the campaign maps from the MPQ.
4. Edit them as you like (new heroes etc.)
5. Copy all the files from the original MPQ to a folder.
6. Add the replacement maps into the folder.
7. Make the new MPQ with an MPQ tool and put it into the WC3 folder (replacing the original MPQ).

That would screw the patches. Wouldn't it?.
