In a bit of curiousity I bought the AK-74U.. a nice powerful CQC weapon with higher recoil. Between the S1 and S3...
S1= 33k 13D
S3= 27k 16D..

The weapon did have slight noticable drop in recoil more so with the S1 as opposed to the S3. Also seemed at first my fire rate was slow then gained speed as more rounds left with the S3.. maybe my imagination.. This wouldn't in anyway be hard data but just some results of my own curiousity as it was same room and players but variables of play.. weapon switches.. stratagy changes are too great. But after a few rounds the S1 seems to be the best at lowering recoil.

well.. it says S1 lowers recoil. S2 and S3 doesn't lower recoil.
