She said to me that there was a vampire or necromancer (i forget) in the nearby caves and that this was bad for buisness. she promised to make it worth my while if i got rid of it. i talked a bit more with the local occupants of the tavern then made my way upstairs. while up there i had a look around, there were hard level locks on the doors, no chance of getting in there. there was also the usual bunch of miscelaneous clutter that ends up in houses such as brooms and buckets and stuff that is quite purposely, (and obviously) useless clutter. I picked up a broom, i didn't put it in my inventory, it was still in my hand, but the person behind me saw this as an act of stealing, well, guess what happened then. I left as fast as possible, but not fast enough. the guard i talked to before entering the tavern, stopped me and said i could either co-operate, pay the fine and give back all my stolen goods or go to the nearest jail pay my due in time and give back all my stolen goods or resist arrest. i decided, it was a msimple theft, i would pay the fine. i imediately got transported to cheydinhal castle, somewhere i had never been before. well, that wasn't part of the deal. so to get even, i shot a guard in the back of the head, then a message appeared "your actions have been noted by forces unseen". well, that can't be good. having never been here before, i wandered around a bit and found the barracks, but not knowing it was the barracks, i went inside.</p><p></p><p>at this point a would like to point out that the price of murder was 1000 gold, something i just couldn't afford. as i entered the bustling room, all became focused. they all became focused towards me, they stood up, almost in unison, and faced me. well, i can tell you, i found that door pretty fast and was out of there even faster. as i tried to leave the castle, the locals ganged up and charged towards me, as well as some of the guards on duty outside the barracks. i killed quite a few of them but they just seemed to get replaced just as easily. i couldn't keep it up for long, so i left there, killing a few more as i left. i stole a horse and fled into the wilderness to contemplate my next move. i decided that i could survive out here as an outlaw. but for how long?</p><p></p><p>for the next couple of days, i would simply kill anybody that stood in my way. which was usually just the imperial guards and imperial hunters patrolling the ring road. by the time my bounty had become 26,000 gold (roughly) i decided, i've had enough. i turned my self in and served my time. 216 days of imprisonment. btw, i broke the only lockpick i took in with me, trynig to pick the lock. when i got out most (if not all) of my skills had decreaed in points. and now, even after 180 hours of playing and hardly any jail time, i have only gone through 300 odd days (in game) including the 216 in jail.</p><p></p><p>~Xeridanus</p></blockquote><p></p>
