About the same kind of way that I fight him... Regardless, sometimes a battle with a dragon can be easier than other times. After all, it all depends on the dice. Sometimes you roll beter than other times. If you constantly roll critical hits, while the dragon keeps rolling the lowest possible scores, than eventually the battle will be quite easy. Especially if your saving throws are quite good as well. ^^ The Dragon Breath's remain quite a pain, as they don't prevent all damage, even if you make a successful saving throw. I consider Firkraag (well, the Black Dragon actually) the weakest dragons of them all... maybe it's because I tend to raise quite a high fire resistence, or maybe it's because it's the typical enemy I like to fight against and he has no specific abilities that really cause me too much damage... well, besides a failed saving throw of Aerie or Jan from his Fire Dragon Breath. :P That quite... hurts... Regardless, I still never managed to win from the Silver Dragon. That mass petrify really annoys me... especially because I refuse to be petrified. Luckily, only a handful of creatures are able to do that... :D A ranger also has the choice to get a racial enemy. When you face such a creature, you're immediately get a +4 in just every attack. I always find it quite a hard choice... what to choose? I don't like fighting vampires, (Bodhi's Guild, Windspear Hills) so I really like to get rid of them quickly, but the same counts for a Beholder (Lair of the Unseeing Eye, Underdark Beholder cave). Especially considering the abilities of a beholder. On the other hand, it's quite fun to hack on a Lich (City Gates, Bridge District) as well. Trolls (Druid Grove, de'Arnise Keep) remain annoying too, but they aren't too strong. Regardless, my choice usually drops on either the dragon (Windspear Hills, several right after each other in ToB) race or the Mind Flayers (Sewer of the Temple District (what the hell were they doing there anyway?) and their home in the Underdark). They're all strong and eventually you'll face every one of them quite often. Every one of them gave me at the very least one bad memory to think back on.
