wii sound volume

hi i looked through all the wii settings but i couldn't find any wii sound volume settings. Is it even possible to change the volume of the wii??

For Wii: this is through your TV's volume - the wii has no speakers, it's your TV!

For WiiMote: press HOME, then Wiimote settings

why don't you just adjust the volume on your tv?

The only way i know is to either turn it down on the tv or go on the home menu to turn down the wiimote

Well, that is what I have to do, but it is anoying not to have a volume control for the output from the Wii, since the volume from the Wii is much higher than the normal stuff I use the TV for. It's just annoying having to adjust the TV volume when the kids starts playing.
Perhaps it's something they can add in a firmware upgrade.
There is probably a register where you can control this somewhere - or do it in software by scaling it down.

i have a digibox and its much quieter than the wii so its just a bit boring changing the volume all the time

Same here, I tried hunting for a volume controls in the Wii system menu but there isn't one.

My TV goes somewhere between 30 and 50 on volume when watching TV. When playing Wii it goes somewhere between 5 and 20! Seems odd, then again the PS2 is the same.

maybe that happens because it is connected via component/scart?
