Wii the Wii work with any Gamecube controller?

Will the wii work with any sort of Gamecube contoller (third-party, wavebird, original e.t.c) or does it have a preference?

i dont buy 3rd party controller's so i wouldnt know, but i would guess they would work.

why wouldn't the wii work with 3rd party controllers or wavebirds? that wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. the gamecube ports on the wii are exactly the same as on the gamecube...

1) Don't Bump. People will see it eventually so relax
2) Wavebirds work. Third-Party Suck and Originals work.. have you seen the top port of the Wii?

Any GameCube accessory works on the Wii. Except for the GBA Player and the Phantasy Star Online Lan thing.

you can get one for £3 at ebay, but you could be cheated so asdas fine. on youre wii there'll be a latch at the top, open it and there'll be 4 game-cube controller slots
