Don't take me so literally. I was merely using an allegory to convey my apprehension in regards to the commercialization of PuNx.

Here, I'll put it this way:

Imagine that you frequent a small corner cafe for lunch, coffe, conversation. , etc. You like the place because of its sense of community and obscurity. Now imagine that one day you go to your beloved cafe and find that it has been turned into a McDonalds. Sure you can still go there and have your coffee and whatever, but it just isn't the same.

Heck, maybe I'm just jumping the gun. Maybe I'm paranoid. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bitching and moaning. I just don't want the community that makes PuNx PuNx to get swept away in the winds of change. This is my humble concern. Take it for what it is.

I doubt this would ever turn into a "McDonald's" type forum and server persay, but you know, if there was little advertising on the site, that money could help Punx improve, or at least help alleviate the cost to Omni, who as far as I understand it makes it all happen. I trust the big heads on here get the big picture when it comes to what this community is all about, because they are the ones that exude that attitude, that this is a place for people to come together, have a shit ton of fun, and get to kick some ass.

The forums needed some updates. Omni has had his other forums updated for a while and he didnt update this one until this week.

Now all of his forum's are up to date with the same version. This makes it a bit easier for manageing and updating .

He has had some of the options (lottey casino) on his other sites and is just adding options for us to play with and enjoy our stay.
