Anyone run cross country in high school or ran at one point?
I just finished a meet and interested if anyone else runs! A few of my teammates are runescape nerds. Funny, because you don't expect gamers to be elite athletes but is crazy!
I am the 2nd place runner on my team, with my PR (personal record) being 17:30 (3 mile)
Just did a 18:12 but this was course had more hills then my PR course. Good and bad thing about it is the 1st place runner on my team is also the best in the entire league. He pr'd 16:20.
It's great is he so awesome, and I am very proud of him, but it's a little discouraging when he is QUITE a bit better then me. Hah.
Anyways I got 9th outta 103 people for the league meet. I am somewhat happy about it.
Anyone else run x-c? If so how do you like it? Make you extremely fit, but also extremely tired everyday. Hard work. Also feel free to share experiences like mine.
