Your Best Memories of the previous forum?

It's been 6 or so months since the change over from Combat Arms Forums to Games Only.

I thought the change would bring new members to the forums who would come join the family, but things I believe haven't become what they were lived up to.

So what are your most prominent memories of the previous forum?

Mine are the old community we had. It was actually enjoyable sharing my and other peoples knowledge about Combat Arms. I remember my long "GP troubles" thread and hopefully I did my bit to help who viewed it.

I actually didn't mind Illspirit now that I look back. At lteast he brought some activity in here. And him calling me a bad moderator. It made me think a tiny bit, but I moved on.

The forums being lively even after a few hours I checked up on it. Too bad I was never in the rush hour of the forums. That would have been fun.

Jordan, I remember turning a I think suggestion thread into a conversation between me and you. If only these things happened still, but with everyone included.

I don't know about you, but the forums have changed, some of us have moved on and others sticked around wait it out. Combat Arms have changed, our community had changed and I can only wish the forum would be back to itself, after all I've spent almost 2 years on this forum since the beginning when there were just 5 or so members.

I miss just about everything about CAF. I miss the activity, I miss struggling to post in as many threads I could lol I miss the idiots, don't miss the trolls though.

Roger I hate you-Illspirit should have been banned WAY before I JOINED probably, but he's off. (Im JK'n)

Anyways, I remember the CA focus, but also the conversations over music, TV, books, random stuff, etc.

Everyone was pretty cool and friendly

CAF was better because there might not have been as many accounts made, but it was more activity and a close-nit group. Like there was more disscusions going on and we were all focused on the game.

Yea, I wish I had the money to do it. I would buy it and put someone else in charge though only because I have so much going on and I think there's better owners than me. I wouldnt mind putting up the money to buy it, if i had it though.

I think the actualy turning point on CAF was the fact many members had stopped playing. Then we didn't actully talk much about it.

As for Illspirit, I kept on banning him but he kept making accounts. So to stop that, I made a deal he stopped making new accounts and porn and I gave his first account back.

Problem was for me by the time I came online, he was offline and posted all his porn so really banning him every time didn't help that much. He would've posted all the crap before he got banned.

dude, that made my day! I had a HUGE smile on my face and I got so caught up in my excitement that I started posting visitor messages announcing him being banned (although it happened a while before I logged on, but I didnt care, I was SO excited)

I hate people like him, just career flamers.

damn them to hell. lol

Best memories...hmm, i always liked the endless weapon discussions about the K2 and FAMAS.
I also remember when CSM was a really high rank and the itech was godly...much like how big the number 100 was in grade 1...

Oh yeah, the godly CSM. The iTech. We kept on thinking how good the iTech was.

But wait. 2nd Lt was like GOA to us.

... It seemed so far away.
