Sorry, can't stand Nickelback. Perhaps I should revise my earlier statement and simply call him unoriginal. I don't see him doing anything that the three groups/artists didn't already do 30 years ago. "No talent" was probably too much. I simply don't care for most of his stuff. (I do like a few songs though). I'm probably too old. Most of the Manson fans around here are the junior high and high school kids. I was a couple decades early to appreciate him.

Then again, I'm not much of a fan of MOST of the music after the 70's and 80's. Give me Led Zeppelin, KISS and Black Sabbath over ANYTHING from the last 20 years.

Musicians copy other musicians all the time. It's just a way of them showing respect to those who have influenced them. They also add a new twist or things not many people or a lot have seen before.

I don't think I was making fun of anyone for being a Manson fan. I'm just NOT a fan, and evidently it's okay to make fun of me. So, have at it.

If you want to get technical about it, you did make fun of someone. That person is Marilyn Manson. Then you activated a chain link. Insult him = insulting those who do enjoy his music. I could go deeper into a full explanation but I think or at least hope you get the jist.

I enjoy listening to his music. Most people think someone isn't talented because they're stuck in that era. Not thinking outside the box. Change is good. Just not country... Growing up to that shit was torture enough. Problem with having redneck parents.
