Computer Bug

I got a 'serious system error' about 15 min ago. Ever since a strange buzzing noise has been coming from my computer and it only stops when my computer is fully started up. I already restarted and restored it to 2 days ago but the buzzing is still there.

Anyone with serious advice/help post it here because well I have no idea why it's happening.

EDIT:> The error message said something about physical memory and something about dumping it. Any clues?

PS I contacted Microsoft (error report) but they don't know what caused the system error. All I know is that it happened and this morning I installed a game that was VERY buggy. I uninstaleld that now.

Thanks,
Dest

Overheating perhaps since a somewhat similar problem occured to me a few years ago. Though I got an alarming sound, which is perhaps not completely the same. Nor did it stop until my computer was off.

It couldn't hurt to check that though.

Lack of a memory dump, or something like that. I don't know too much about this subject. I purposely tried to avoid a study course of this direction because my brother was the guy who knows most about these things when it comes ot my family.
But I know a word or two. :p

Though that doesn't explain the buzzing though.

Lack of memory=Too little memory
Dump=Throw away your crap
Your memory might be to its maximum capacity, you should check that out.
(btw this is all common sense, I don't really know much on this subject :p)

I am pretty sure I heard the word 'Memory dump' before... but this is still not a subject I know much about.

im not professional so INSERT DISCLAIMER HERE. ok, if you have another computer in the house, pull it apart and use the bits (hard drive, ram etc...), one at a time, in your computer to see which ones it will work with. if it will work with all but one piece, you know that is the one that is broken. the other way to do it would be to put your hardware in the other computer and see what works. basic trouble shooting procedure.

Open your PC case and check the memory chip and/or the ventilation system, if you dont understand the interior of the PC, call a specialist to do it
