Yeah, the 480p is sort of a disappointment, but hey.. Also, for the cables, something as 'bad' for HD as the Wii is you probably don't need the pricey cables. I just got mine for under $8 on eBay. Looks fine on my 26" LCD.

I've just bought a component cable on Amazon and am waiting for it to be delivered. Component is much better than scart. It's a shame that they didnt make the WII High Definition!!

My old Sony telly doesn't seem to have the component inputs, but I upgraded to RGB scart yesterday and the difference compared to the composite connection is brilliant. Zelda looks a lot crisper and easier on the eyes.

Is component only available for HDTVs? Or do all new tellies have this connection?
