there is a company trying to build a wind farm (a bunch of wind turbines for creating electricity) and there is some special interest group with their panties in a wad bc they think it will "kill countless birds"

LOL, come here bitches, so i can slap your dumb ass. ya, right here, here i am, come here....

seriously, FUCK YOUR STUPID 3 BIRDS A YEAR, haha, i mean honestly, i cant even laugh at these fucks. yea, i am all about save the bees and w/e but get the fuck outta town, FREE, CLEAN ENERGY vs. A FEW BIRDS??? bring me some birds, i'll knock 'em all off with my red rider bb gun and lay 'em on your front porch. rofl, man, gotta get out the pimp slap sometimes, i would start that backhand from down in mississippi and come up all the way through BC on that ass. ha! douchebags.

i bet more birds fly into cars every year than get killed by windmills.

makes me wonder if these people ride bikes everywhere to prevent that from happening.

I bet it's PETA, they are completely ignorant and unreasonable. They tried to get a baseball pitcher in trouble a couple years ago when a bird flew into a pitch he threw. Thats just one of countless examples.

organizations like that almost 9 times outta 10 loes sight of why they even choose to be there in the first place. Lemme give you an example...

animal rights activists go to this lab with monkeys in it (btw these monkeys are living the life) the activists tell them to stop running tests on the monkeys, tests that do not include inflicting pain to the monkeys. the lab ignores the activists so they set the lab on fire! gfg

i heard on discovery or somewhere that birds don't fly into windmills.

That is a complete urban legend is what i've been told and there is no real proof that they do.

In all honesty they would have been better off just arguing the building plan at all, Energy output from those Wind farms is minimal.....like....a handful of batteries. Very inefficient and very exspensive.

Some of the info I have read in the past has said that in an area where the avg windspeed is at least 10 mph, 2 of those turbines could produce in the neighborhood of 2-3 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year. The avg home uses 10,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a year. So basically thats 200 houses getting their power taken care of from a couple of windmills. Definetly more power than "a handful of batteries" in any case.

ya, ds, i think they are pretty productive these days cuz i thought the same thing but saw 2 programs on them recently and they had some pretty impressive numbers. of course, i have no frame of reference.

They sell consumer models that work well if you are in a good location. plus if you make more than you use you get checks from the power company
