Has the Wii motion controller lost its appeal?

To me it really has. The excitement goes away at some point, then we are left with average to bad games. At least the online service rules.

there'll be more good games, SSBB, galaxy, metroid, Mario Kart. though I know what you mean, there aren't really many games atm that grab your attention. :(

a little... i find in zelda i just shake the remote like a would a bottle to attack... seems boring... what i need is a game that replicates motion of the wii mote and is designed to show it on screen...
however, i love the idea of using the wiimote as a pointer in FPS games and for shooting on zelda

I thought that Zelda was going to have a bow and arrow motion. Pull back the numchuck, the bow pulles tighter. That would have made my day :)

The Wii was realeased before most of the really good games came out. Twilight Princess only came out first to satisfy our attention until the other big games came out like Metroid Prime, Super Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. Brawl. Once those come out, we will be content once more, or at least I will :yess:

Well, another thing is that i have not bought a game for the wii in forever. Can any1 list me games that have been recently released that uses the motion sensing to full advantage? I need somthing to hold me off until the good games come out. I know the first one on the list, Mario party 8 perhaps?

I don't think the controller itself has lost appeal. I think it's a lack of newer games taking full advantage or, worse still, making a mess-up of it and putting people off.

With the holiday season fast approaching and some good titles being released, I think the wiimote will receive renewed enthusiasm. :)
