help me plz!?!?!

i had to restore my comp back to factory setting bc it was infested with garbage and all kinds of other unwanted virus/spyware shit.
regardless, i reinstalled cz and now when i try to connect i get to the precaching resources part and oh so close to getting on to the server, but then it freezes and i have to close steam and try again only to have the same outcome. im about to throw this pos out the window, so if any1 can help it would be greatly appreciated. oh yea and my steam icon shows that it is always working. could this be a clue?? lol HELP!!!!!!!! :evil:

All of the components may not fully be installed. I recentely had to the same thing and when I started up cz and connected to a server it took forever to pre-cache the resources but finally went through. This may be the case with you. I thought it had froze at that time too...but it was just taking a long time to load. After it did this once, all was fine.

hey i have that same problem...i get to the same part...almost of the server then it throws me back onto the desktop...usually i have to restart my comp in order for it to work...

Everyone has got this problem as far as I know. Mine freezes 4-5 times and then it's all good. This is happening every time....no exceptions.

thx deli, i did finally get on to some random server bc punx was full, but my prob doenst stop there. when i finally connect everything looked like ass so i went into video in options and saw something strange. im pretty sure the renderer was openGL before?? right? well now it says software...wtf? i tried to put on openGL and a window came up saying not supported. did i mention i luv my comp?

You might have to install the drivers for your card again.

lol, thanx deli. i somehow figured it out on my own and just did it. seems to be back to normal. and slick if it does that shit to u always....well i feel for ya!!! wat a nightmare!!!!!!! see ya in a few, YEA YEA YEA!!!!!!!!!!
