I have not been online with my Wii in a Looooong time(Stupid wifi connector made my PC crash!) but i have not heard anything either. Nintendo needs to think before they say anything.:mega_shok:

If I were a PS3 fanboy, I'd trade my Wii in for one and leave this forum. But I'm saving up for a PS3 as it'll make gaming better, and the fact I've been gaming with Nintendo for 14 years may have something to prove you wrong. It's just that Nintendo are getting arrogant again and I've had enough.

Okay I'll do a quick review, pretending it's 2008:
Games: SSBB & SMG are WAY better than PS3's "Warhawk."
Graphics: Okay PS3 wins, but only the bad games have good graphics. Ironic, isn't it?
VC/PS3 arcade: VC, NES games & N64 games kick PS1 games behind!
Entertainment: Wii, with party games and friendly games, the PS3 doesn't EVEN compare.
Sales: Pardon my French, but the Wii kicked PS3's scrawny, little, ass!
Here is where I stand:

GAMES: Hmm, the Wii has SMG, MP3, SSBB & MK: Wii. There will be good titles over the next 6-12 months as Nintendo will make us wait as usual. Warhawk is actually a good game, scoring 7.5/8.9 on average in reviews. In my opinion of the games I've extensively played, you have Motorstorm, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Stranglehold, Fight Night Round 3, Locoroco 2, GRAW2, Virtua Fighter 5, Heavenly Sword, SEGA Rally and Folksoul. And by next year we'll have GTA IV, the epic MGS4, HAZE, Gran Turismo 5, Motorstorm 2, Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, The Getaway 3, Afrika, Resident Evil 5. Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet & Clank, PES2008, the secret titles from the creators of ICO and Timesplitters 4, Kingdom Hearts III and so much damn more. While the Wii gets more cut down spinoff ports and casual party games than actual GAMES from crappy publishers like Ubisoft. The PS3 will be loaded, and the Wii will be coughing behind. Oh, and if Shenmue III arrived on 360 & PS3, consider the Wii phailed.
GRAPHICS: Yeah, you're right, the PS3 is more powerful than the Wii, because it isn't outdated technology. And with my HDTV, it'll be even better. Though you didn't list me any bad games with good graphics... fanboy much? Just check out the visuals & art direction of the games I listed. AAA titles with blockbuster vision.

VC vs Playstation Store: Because of a lack of PSOne games on the Store, VC is better. It's my favourite feature of the Wii, and I haven't bought a Wii game since RE4 on June. Ironic huh?
By the way, you can go back to downloading Everybody Votes and watching the MP3 Preview Channel while I watch my uncle download free HD trailers of MGS4, RE5, The Bourne Ultimatum, SAW III, download screensavers and wallpapers, and download a demo of FIFA 08. Y'know, try before you buy? Oh yeah, he also downloaded then full version of Warhawk off the Store for just £19.99.
Oh yeah, one more thing: the HOME community. Kthnxbai.
ONLINE: Funnily enough, you forgot to mention this. Let's see, the Wii lets you browse the net after paying 500 Points. You can swap Miis with someone and send them messages after adding them through wonderful 16 digit codes. Joy! Then you can play MSCF on Wi-fi with loads of lag, so long you've added the Friend Codes. YAY! You can't chat in-game apart from 4 preset texts or organise tournaments in a Wi-fi hub channel.
PS3: Use the built in browser and install Linux. Add your friends with one PSN ID. Check their online status in the system and see what games they're playing. Chat via bluetooth headset, mouse & keyboard or even via USB camera. Socialise properly in HOME in January, and access a massive range of online DEDICATED servers while you play. Killzone 2 anyone? And oh yeah, it's free.
ENTERTAINMENT: Lol, the 'friendly' and 'family' games are what is ruining the Wii. Most of them are crap cash ins. Wii Sports and Play got old. What about the real gamer? And yeah, the PS3 can't compare to it. I'm sure the PS3's photo viewer, music jukebox, MP4 playback, BLU-RAY and 1080p HD Freeview broadcasting service has anything over the Wii.[/sarcasm]
SALES: YEAH, I agree that Wii has outselled PS3 by miles. But Sony can always strike back with the new UK price drops and good advertising. You never can predict the gaming industry.
