To be honest, the wii doesn't really need an internal hard-drive, it'll take up alot of space, making the console even heavier than it's suprisingly already is.
Besides that, it'd mean more hassel for removing it from the console.
Now really, you've got the i believe 2GB memory cards, i think some are even 4GB.
Which you can store your virtual console games on if you have to, although i do understand, it can be a pain to keep having to take out or put in a card to play certain games. But it's better than having a console be bulky and massive for no reason.
But for me i have 1,300, just over that i believe in blocks, most of the times when you download virtual console games and such anyway you normally end up noticing it takes less blocks than it says it will.
