I LOVE TERRAN!

In response to the initial topic, recreating a model from scratch does not invoke copyright laws. Considering that we could not even open the model, we can't even be sure if the one listed as the creator actually created it. It could just be a screenshot from something else. All we had was a screenshot.

And, what I meant by "redoing the wc3sear.ch models" is that the models have pretty much been redone in GTW style, with GTW reqs and whatnot. They are no longer based off of the wc3sear.ch models. They have their own skins, and look quite different.

Wrong. By basing it upon someone else's idea, you are stealing their idea. That is a breach of intellectual property.

Ok....I've got something to report.
Just so you know, these last two posts were possibly done by the same person that hacked Terrans account. They have the same IP as some of the posts done by the hacker, and the IP has never been used by Werewulf otherwise.
Therefore, I've said my two cents.

They're not. They may have used the same IP for two account hacks, but the IPs have not linked to any posts but the hacker's.
ie- They made their IPs different so they didn't get caught.

I don't believe that if wulf did any of this, that she did it alone. This post- Post, was definitely not the work of wulf, but actually features many trademark posting styles of someone else. Anyone who has spoken with the implied person will instantly pick-up on the things that I have implied.

You cant rely on IP's, you rely on posting patterns ect. Proxies just block them. Though you could always have Arkidas turn on Block Proxies and update the list frequently but still impossible to block all on the net =/

Oh but r0k, you can rely on IPs.
True, they will not tell you who was the hacker (if that hacker's smart that is). But they will tell you that they were made by different people because most people don't fool around with their IP anyways, unless they've got something to hide, such as the case of a hacker.

Many people have dynamic, ie: changing, IPs (or just log in from different places).

Putting a program onto someone's computer to reroute traffic through it (and thus their IP) wouldn't be too much, so long as you could get them to download a file.

You may wish to clarify that you are referring to the last two posts on Terran's account, not the last two posts before you posted (which includes one of mine), just to avoid any confusion. Already too many false accusations flying around.

EDIT: Though I have just found a trojan on my computer. Some idiot linked me to a download with a trojan built in, and it slipped through my virus scanner.

Yes, many internet providers don't give permanent IP, but just give you random one once you connect to the net; some of them change your IP each month, etc.

My ip is relatively static, but I know that r0k has mentioned numerous times in the past that he has programs that allow him to have a constantly-changing ip.

Áya, seens we're in the middle of a stealing/hack plot!

jaja, i personally find all of this so funny, sorry if i cant keep my words to myself...
actually i cant say anything because i dont know the "backdoors" of Terran's problem with sam, but, whatever it is, chill out, its pretty common to steal net work, and no "facultative copyright" i know ever worked, Captain Griffen. So just try to solve this in peace or in other place guys, Anvil is not a warzone. Altough i feel Werewulf wanted to expose all of this in here just because of Terran's position here...

Anyways, if this is indeed a stealing/hack plot (jajaja) youre in your way to become a damn good detective Werewulf, its not the first time you uncover some dirty things about others ^^

rotfl elvorith -.-

but still... it isn't Werewulf crusade vs GTW to make her stronger and more respected on wc3anvil.

about these copyrights... lets say an example:

- you are making a game about some creatures who fight themselves

- you made models yourself, althought they look 1:1 like pokemons

- they are named differently, attack in other ways

- I am sure Nintendo could sue you
