Well since my dad was in he 82 Air born in the Army, he told me if you see one sticking out walk back a few feet and shot the tops and then you won't have to worry about them any more

That's exactly what I do in-game.
See a little unidentified object, looking like wires, back up a bit, give it a couple shots, watch the works and access granted.
