Mod Items besides scope, extended mag, silencer

I like the bayonet idea. By the way, just going off of memory, I think bayonets would reduce accuracy. That was back in the days of the musket, though, so it might be different now. I also like the grip/padding idea, and the different bullet types. I could live without color changing, but it would be pretty cool. Grenade launcher would be... interesting. I think everyone would just complain about it.

This idea's been thrown around a lot, but how about, instead of a scope, you can purchase iron sights (I think that's what they're called) for your guns? And a barrel mag for assault rifles would be insane, but hard to implement.

I'd love to see some other mods in the game besides the three types we have now. Here's a list of a few major ones I can think of:

1) Different ammo types. Hollow-point, Armor Piercing, Slug (shotgun), wide-spread shells (shotgun), there are many more but here are some

2) Stabilizers/Legs/Bipod/Tripod. those metal legs that most sniper rifles and MG's have to give the gunner better accuracy but you can't use them.

3) Grenade Launcher. Attaches to the bottom of an Assault Rifle and takes up the grenade spot in the inventory. Start with 6 or so small, fireable grenades. Switch to grenade fire mode like you normally would switch over to your grenades ("4" key).

4) Strap. a piece of strong material (maybe like a guitar strap, possibly thicker) that allows you to hang your gun from your shoulder. Halves the time it takes to switch to/from the weapon.

that's all i can think of, anyone else have comments or additions to this?
