Hey guys i figgered it out--sort of. It works now at least. I dont know specifically what was changed, but i went to Windows volume control, changed back to default settings, then reconfigured the surround the way i like it. It seems ok now. I have no idea how it was changed or who changed it. Thank you all for the help.
