I was playing half-life then my buddy showed me counterstrike and i bought the game the next day and been playing ever since

Started playing Quake /Unreal Tournament online years ago, then played CS up to version 1.2 (pre steam) when my hard drive took a dump, and I lost all of my games (they were not exactly store bought versions). Then one day while searching the clearance racks at Target I saw a copy of Counter Strike CZ on sale for $15.95, and thought "what the hell, I'll give it a try". The second day i was playing I found the PUNX server, and the rest is, well you know the rest.

I bought a new video card for my computer back in 2001 while working at Microsoft, right after 9/11. It came with a free copy of Counterstrike. It had no instructions at all and even though I wasn't a gamer I wanted to see if this game showed off my new card's abilities. I got on the internet with it and suddenly heard a bunch of people loading their weapons in this really dark room that I was in. I assumed they were the enemy and started unloading my clip into them until I heard "What the fuck is the matter with Player?" and then I was banned. I added one plus one and figured out my mistake. I played the BTD clan mostly for the next year or more and then one night while their server was down I found a server whose title was "NO AWP" and thought, " I have found my home".
