I don't know if there are any State parks in the area. But I know you can get big log cabins (like with 8 beds and a REALLY big common area) at most state parks for pretty cheap, like $150. The nice thing about that is that it's out in the country so you don't have to worry about neighbors complaining. Normally a park ranger might come by once early in the evening to check on things, but then you have the whole place and the woods to your self.
The cabins in the Georgia state park system have light, AC, heat, grounded outlets, modern kitchens (with microwave, oven, ect), bathroom (or two) with showers.
