yeah i was in florida when 1 happened. All i could remember was that we were taking a field trip that day, we're riding in a van to go where ever, and the teacher said "Dont stare at the sun! You'll go blind!" and so I stared at the sun for like a minute and now I wear glasses....

and they wouldn't let us go outside for recess.

I was lucky enough to see one from Missouri 10 or so years ago, they are cool and happen all ofer the world every year so with a little planning you can see one every couple years for the rtest of your life, and they are always that impressive.
