well serber(s) on small and connect it to a big one for everyone to hop on is what i recommend
or if we are just running 1 serber then it would be right just to throw it all on one big

But if there is a problem it would be better to have smaller ones fed into one "server" switch.

We going to be setting up down stairs? Any idea if random peeps will be able to see in from the outside? I just don't want anyone ganking my shit. Seeing as how none of us know each other it wouldn't be so hard for someone to just walk in and take something....I mean, who would know to stop them since we don't know each other?
I get off at 6pm Friday leave at 6:10, 229 miles, should put me at the building at 9:30 - 10pm. I want to get a few cell numbers in case you guys have already gone out or what ever.
I plan on just bringing a sleeping bag and crashing in a quite corner in the store/warehouse.

config question again: is a 100mbs switch ok, and im thinking like have 5 x 8 port switches to run the whole thing....? instead of a small one and a big one etc. is it ok to have them all hte same port number?

eggs, i forgat, did you have any 25 footers for enet cables? i can get them pretty cheap if not, just let me know. ill prolly give you a call saturday or something anyway.

question: do you guys want to bring some extra power strips/surge protectors, just in case? i will supply the main ones, but back up is leet.

hyppie, i wouldnt worry too much about people off the street coming in a taking shit. its real important to kevin and i, and most of the rest of you, that nothing happens to anybody's stuff. if someone is in there that shouldnt be, in this part of town, it will be painfully obvious...

arrive time: after 5 would be the best for me as of right now. i have to work but am trying to get off asap to do some prelim setup. i will know more about what i have to do on saturday.

it might be a good idea to get a 25 footer
we have them but i was looking at the long long ones
and they look in rough condition
i can take care of the shorter ones no prob
but the longer ones look a lil worse for ware
