I'm not sure what I'm going to do, I'd like to go to college and become either a history or poli sci major. I've recently decided to change my name to sound more like an action hero however.

Before I go to college I want to publish a book. I have the story down and everything, and it kicks serious ass. The only weakness is the first 1/3 or so of the book, which seem quite dull in comparison to the rest of the storyline =/ I've tried so many things, but I just can't seem to get it good. It's probably due to the lack of emotion and battle scenes both in comparison to the middle of the story when the main character goes crazy. Best part is that a lot of characters die, so it isn't one of those sappy "gewd 0wned ebil like t3h nubs" kind of stories.

Oh dear, I'm rambling on about something noone knows about XD I really got to write that story >_>

Anyway, after I go through college and crap, I'll become an animator. Not a 3D animator, I mean traditional frame by frame stuff. I'm extremely talented for my age, and I could probably make a living off my current animating skills if it weren't for the lack of professionalism and precision the brush tool in Flash MX gives :p

I might also keep looking for a job opening in gaming, but that's just a little dream I have. There are just so many people who want to go into the video gaming field, so I doubt it'll ever happen, although it could and I'd love it. The late-night hours, the working under deadlines, the stress, yeah, that's the stuff...

I know something like you said.
Try to post it in the Stories Galore forum. JetPack and I are quite accurate when it comes to pointing out parts that might need work. It isn't just a comment of "it's good" or "it's bad."
I dare not say that I wrote professionally, but I was paid to write, so perhaps that'll make you feel better :p

Take your time. It's not like you're in a hurry, are you?

Don't be surprised if I'd say it isn't that over crowded. The idea popped in my head (Game Designer) as well, 2 years ago. Though never forget that there is about 90% chance that you'll lose interest in games while you're getting older.

As for myself.
Like some may know, I am, at the moment, studying administration (accountant), but as I announced more than once outside (and on-) the internet, I suck in working with numbers. I usually joke about it with friends: "I suck with numbers, therefore I chose to study administration", a course that exists 99% out of numbers :p
If I graduate this year, I'll definitely stop with this course. Two years ago, the idea was to take on the study course of game designer, but I slowly lost interest over the last one and a half year. Around three months ago, I was searching for a new study course, and eventually resulted in 'journalistic', though I am not about to make the same mistake I made with the course of a 'game designer', that would mean, taking a course blindly. Taking it, only to lose interest in it a few weeks/months later. Therefore, I am waiting until it is December, so I've had three months of time to think about it. If I haven't lost interest then, then I hope it will be a good idea.

*uhhum*
I was hoping to succeed in it, in my style of talking (compare it with my forum posts), though I have a little problem with my speech, that's my biggest downfall.
Eitherway, I'll first need to get through this year :p I don't really got good grades at the moment :p Actually, consider them bad. :p

Nah, just wanna finish it in this millenium ^_^ I'm a huge procrastinator, and I started the story about 6 months ago, got 3 chapters and a prologue done, and borded out.

Hey, I still like cartoons ^_^ Don't think I'll grow bored of video games for a long while.

My plans, if anyone cares, is to live in Japan and become a gaming artist for a popular gaming industry.
[/b]

Well at least you want to live in Japan because you want to be a gaming artist, else I'd probably flame you :p Most people blindly want to go there because of Anime. It's funny, too, because the ones that want to go there because of that are the ones that would never survive in Japan, seeing as Japan is a major working society and not a "24 hour Anime-con".

Ramble alert!

I was probably sick when this thread was started.

Well I want to be a guitarist and a singer,
I don't want to be a big celebrity/superstar,
Myself I don't like them allot expect for a few.

I just want to do this because this is what I enjoy doing,
And writing songs of course though I haven't started that yet,
One thing is for sure and that is I am not going to pay others to write my songs like these Hollywood celebs do,

That doesn't show any mark of creativity at all.

Well that's about it for now,
I am also learning to play the piano and have been for a good time so that will come in handy.
