depends on the map but i sually use the AK-47 with scope for its accuracy and it has a fair bit of power behind it, its just the recoil thats annoying but i can handle it.
sometimes a use the ump with S2 silencer and scope, you can get abour 3 shots in at long range with a silencer on until the recoil kicks in, plus you can just run into a room and kill everyone in there in 5 seconds flat .

I love the L96 sniper, because it doesn't matter where you hit them, if you get hit, you're screwed!
