Sorry, Undead. I don't speak Spanish. Only a few words I might have picked up here and there, just like Russian or Chinese as wild examples. I'm only familiar with Dutch, German and English. But only fluent in Dutch and English. German isn't one of my strongest parts, but I am pretty fond on it.

And what is so 'exceptional' on what I did? Any history that is placed has an average size. It's just not like your everyday-post.

I like Spanish cause they are an enemy of the French :D I just don't like the French language...especially because here they MAKE you take it because Canada has 2 official languages...

It's an old thread, but I find it quite useless to create a new one which is related to the title of this thread. But I have a question, which would fall off-topic in pretty much every other thread, therefore, reviving this old (and forgotten :p) thread.

I had a discussion with a friend this morning about someone I kno-... we know. Though he never met the person I meant nor ever talked to her on MSN, she was quite often a subject to talk about. Anyway, something quite disastrous happened to that person.
Without any warning, she suddenly forgot stuff. A (light) case of amnesia (memory loss, for those who are not familiar with it) that is something that is definite. Now my question is, is 'stress' able to burden the mind enough to trigger a case of a noticing memory loss?

A little experience of myself with her is quite quickly told. She didn't recognize me. She didn't know my name, my relationship to her or who I was in general. Though that could be taken as a joke, I became alarmed when she didn't recognize her friends anymore, her boyfriend and some of her family. She still know her parents.
The friend I talked about this morning is not convinced that stress is able to trigger something like that, I, on the other hand, do believe it is possible.

It probably is, stress does other horrible things to your brain, that it causes amnesia is a definite possibility.
But, it's probably rare, so maybe she had a slight fall on the head?

You know her well Fladian? She got any kind of hidden emocional problem? I prefer to believe she is trying to catch some attention, rather than believe that she got such a mind stress at that age

Stress can cause a lot of things, my mom used to have bad back problems when they were going through the divorce and well my dad said it's because of all the stress (the divorce thing is sitll going on but her back pain is goen now)

I know her quite well, yes. Any hidden emotion problem? Only the problems at home and with her boyfriend, but besides that, I don't think there is anything else.
I would like to prefer to believe that she is asking for attention too, but unfortunately, that isn't the case.

I live on stress, therefore I can take a reasonable high amount, but I am not sure how much, or rather, how long she has/had to endure something.

Stress can indeed trigger a lot of things, I know that quite well. But I am not sure if it can trigger a memory loss.
