Private Message Spam?

I keep getting this message from people on forums.....

Replace Jeanette with some random person's name and some random URL next to it, and it happens quite a few times. What is it? Deos anyone else get these strange messages any often?

By the way, don't know if anyone would remember me, I posted quite often back on Wiipros.

It's so weird, what or who could it be? Ok, a random message comes to you from someone of the unknown, usually someone random or possibly just a robot. Then it states a quote by Albert Einstein which I can't be bothered to quote because I'm lazy,

Could someone reply to one of these messages, just for the hell of seeing what happens? Or would it be wrong in any way?

It's just strange!
