I've tried out a few privates servers, also been a GM on a few, the problem i find is that their just simply is not enough players for each private server to make it worth while

I played on some romanian servers...don't think you heard of them. But I also played on AlphaWoW..it was a great server. Good sustainability , but they stopped wanting to bring new features.
