Mine can go far... One time i was thirsty and playin Super Paper Mario and i was walking to the kitchen and playing.. it still worked.. I think it's around 30+ feet away from my Sensor bar...

Just to let you know, it is not exactly worldwide. For wi-fi games, you can only play people in your country. But back to the real question, I'm not too sure. But whoever said that the sensor bar does not matter, you are wrong. One time, my sensor bar fell down, and i didn't notice it, and I couldnt do anything on the wii.

yeah... to the person who said that bluetooth only matters.... the bluetooth is only in the controller... its not in the wii... so the sensory bar does matter

i can go about 13 feet from mine before it gets weird

i dont really check, but im usually really near to the tv
