Shotguns are for noobs. Hense the term: Noobtube. If you can't aim, play a game like Barbie Adventures.

With that out of the way, the reason the Saiga was designed originally was so there would be a clip fed shotgun for military forces. There's not a whole lot out there that are effective. the AA-12 would be an AWESOME addition, but again...noobtube against other players. I stopped using shotties after I got past private, as it almost gets too easy. I enjoy the heartpounding moments of a firefight with an enemy...I love it when I verse another guy and we both run into the center of the room only to hear eachother's guns clicking, signing that the weapon is empty. A mad dash is made for the doors while buttonmashing commenses. Some try to reload, some switch to a pistol....some switch to shotgun.

I hate shotties with a passion. On the other hand, I love pistol fights. USP FTW.

not all shotguns are for noobs, just that one that everyone uses, its called MS50 or something like that, but double barrel and saiga require some skill.

Plenty of skill involved with shotguns! First off you need to get close enough to your opponent to be effective. Secondly, shotguns encourage bunny hopping and dodging which are definitely expert skills.

Lastly: unless you kill with the first hit with a shotgun, chances are you're dead. So in this sense you need to be even better at aiming than with a fully automatic. If you just clip em, any decent player will turn around and and kill you before your second or third shot.

BTW eagle, the double barrel shot gun is pretty terrible. Just as strong as them590 but only 2 shots and reload is slower. I tried it out and its definitely one of the weakest weapons in the game.

The saiga is pretty cool though. I wouldn't trade the m590 for it because of the m590's flexibility with reload
