System of a down were headlining as a replacement for either Ozzy or Hatebreed...not sure which.

Fucking amazing. Best band I have ever seen live and I have seen lots and lots of bands. Sound was excellent, every note was right on the money and the energy was incredible. If you get a chance to see them live, definitely do it.

Other noteworthy performances were Norma Jean, Unearth and Avenged Sevenfold.

Black Label Society sucks ass...

I walked out of a SOAD concert about 6 songs in. I spent the whole time tring to bust into the pit, but secruity took me down a couple times and I almost got kicked out.

I figure, this band I love and the songs and message they hold... Why the fuck cant I smash some faces here? No, they are bitch tits just like the rest of the world. Full of lumpy fucking milk and once they grow they get sloppy.

So I took my mushroom infested ass back to the Big Apple for some small town stunts.

WEEE!

Ya I feel ya. Sometimes though, you got to figure it's the venue and their fear of the "lawsuit". Big assed amphitheaters aren't the place for rock shows in my opinion. I personally hate them. I enjoyed the second stage more yesterday just cause you could get in and smash up some nice face. I'd rather see a band I hate in a small venue than a band I love in an amphitheater.

Also, I had my 10 year old son with me who subsequently crowd surfed 7 times and was in the pit briefly during Unearth's set. Gotta raise em right!!

Anyone ever listen to the former guitarist for Ozzy. He is the lead for Black Label Society. I never heard him before and just bought two of his CD's. Sorry I don't have his name off the top of my head.

Book of Shadows and Hangover Music are the Cd's...Awesome.
