usually they want to use downloads or whatever, but i noticed someone who hadnt posted thanked me, maybe they just want to show appreciation for the help, or maybe they didnt want to go to there email address so they just said screw it and went to the next forum...

who cares there not really harming anyone and im sure they get there accounts deleted (eventually) when i first joined i only posted thrice then forgot about the site for about 2 months then started getting into gfx more and off and on with blizzard, though now i am playing final fantasy 11, cuz blizzard cant stand my |_|13312 1337 |)2 5|<||_|_2

There are numerous of stuff they can do... perhaps it is just something similar as has been said before. They joined, but forgot posting. Such things are very common. I, as example, have a hard time getting active on a new forum and usually become quite inactive in the first period - and if it isn't at that moment, then a bit later.
Lately there has been a lot of graphic-stuff, which might attract some people as well who like to see it. There can be all kind of stuff.

But if a member hasn't been active for a long period of time, his account could also we be disabled/removed; there is nothing to worry about.

Well I joined for GTW then TOTALLY forgot, but then I started re-coming online to see Flad's quote of the day, and finally when I decided I did want to post I forgot my pass and I had to get Arkidas to reset it... I went unactive again and then came back for the QotD again and started posting again which is now.

Just me, and the general reason it attracts me is because I know Fladian on MSN and have MANY stories about his friends so you see his QotD and go... Uhh yeah!!! Elianne... poor girl... or etc. Lol.
