My comp is overheating lately so i dont play WH40K at all. After upgrading i will again. BTW Orks are based on their numbers mainly. Probably the least tactical race.

On orks really u just gotto make lotas em and upgrade them thats pretty much the tactic for orks

Yeah, one fully recruited basic ork group has 15 units in it, while Space Marines have 8. Though we could discuss on their quality.

Orks outnumber all in in number but in power they sorta fall behind without fully upgraded equiptment and stuff.
I play WH40k, though I always lose against others because they rush through the tech tree to get tanks (which is called the tank rush, and the tanks are about 5 or so in numbers), and it's annoying even more in Quickstart. I even lost against people who play Imperial Guard and keep all their Guardsmen squads together while the team I'm on doesn't bother sending me any aid.
I prefer to go slowly up the tech tree, and it seems I have the dumb luck of getting the lousy teammates.
Well, so long as no one tank rushes really early, I'm alright playing along with you. I prefer muscle-bound infantry all the way, and I'm able to mass a big number of troops by the end of a game (maybe I should try mass Tankbustas sometime?). At least they brought back the heavy weapons on the Chaos Raptors.
I'm also looking forward to Dark Crusade as well, mostly cause of the Necrons' mighty Wraiths and such, even though it's slow on foot (I do pray they include Necron Destroyers and Heavy Destroyers).

Bah, i never played Orks for real, theyre not my style i think. Chaos fits me, as chaos space marines can use infiltrate just like scouts, gives you some choice of a tactic for ambushes or coming close to strong ranged units. And also Chaos Space Marines are strong meele and ranged, that makes em versatile(normal Space Marines after getting upgrades are more ranged than meele). And i love the Defiler's artillery cannon.

However, I prefer a mighty Infantry Assault horde and then I'd go get vehicles later. A very good reason why I play Orks; they have Anti-vehicle Tankbustas, Storm Boyz that can carry Stikk Bombs, and the best close combat combatants when equipped with Power Klaws: Nobz.
Edit: Okay, I've got a couple screenshots (placed in links) from trying the idea of mass Tankbustas (on a computer foe).
Results were devastating! I love the devastation this mob brings! Mass Rokkits own! :yay:
