A Wii Drive would be a must, but I don't think that you should be able to download anything from Opera though. The risk of having viruses and stuff would be immense. How they would keep trojans and stuff from getting into your harddrive, I don't know. Maybe they can't get in without any system on it, and Wii already has a memory to store channels on, and they should be able to get onto that too already as it is. So I don't know if I harddrive would increase that risk of having trojans or viruses.

The reason why the Internet Browser won't let you downlaod is because:

1. Small children may use the Internet on Wii - they may end up downloading something like viruses, porn etc.
2. Yeah, viruses, no thanks.
3. It's pointless, you can do it on your PC anyway.

WEll.....squiddy got some points.....I have a better Idea nintendo should make a download station on their website to download stuff you know music and wallpapers you know..>_>....
