Oh didnt see that, well simpsons gets produced allmost like a soap opera but still also cartoon yes.

It is a favourite television show. There were no restrictions to cartoons.
Like said, Simpsons is one. Family Guy and Futurama are others. Anime is cartoon, with more depth (usually...) than just jokes.
