why is everything for the wii white?

umm the US NES... here's a pic of the controller where you can see the words, and button colour that I'm talking about

I think Nintendo's trying to keep a clean image. Sony seems kinda badass with their black PS3.

I've come to the conclusion that it is white because the DSLite's origanal colour was white. Just like the GC and GBA were both purple.

i think Nintendo wanted something that wasn't all flashy, but something simple yet cool and stylish. and they didnt want it to be about the color of the system, but the games that would be played on it.
