Why is the Gamecube controller better than the others?

i dont play much VC but i mostly go for the classic...but i admit GC is cool...my GC controller got airco so you never get warm hands

I like the Nunchuk/Remote combo but the Gamecube feels a bit more tactile, if you know what I mean.

I also guess because everyone (myself not included) is used to the GC Controller for Melee, they want to stick with it.
