um... that is the official nintendo wii zapper

yeah that particular pic is still a photoshop image, its an image of the final design.

And it isn't a zapper, its a bit of plastic you slot the Wiimote and nunchuck into.
Its more like a gun shape Wiimote holder.

Read here, it is only a design, only one official prototype has been made and that design is still just one of Nintendo's designs.
