wii making noises..?

most consoles make noise of some sort, when I play lego star wars on my slimline PS2 it vibrates loads and I have to turn the volume up to shut out the noise lol.

Hmm...
Maybe everything that plays discs.
The NES and SNES and N64 never had these problems.
Niether did the GBAs and DSs.
The PSP has it, you can hear a spinning disc and it's quite loud...

mine only does it if there is already a game inside when I power up

Mine does that. I think it's because you have a disc in there. Whenever I start up my Wii without a disc I don't hear anything.

mine makes noises too! as if it's struggling to load the game! i've never had a serious problem though!

Mine does that sometimes... it's failed to read a disk a few times as well...

exactly the same for me, sometimes it plays perfectly, sometimes clicks, and a few times has said the disk couldn't be read and tells me to clean it/refer to manual.
