Wii Virus?

I read this article in the web(I dont know where it is)that if you have modded wii viruses might come to the wii and if you send a message trought wii to wii your friend's wii can get inffected too...and on and on....but this was just an article I dont believe it tought....

it could be true but my wii will never be modded and neither are my friends, will nintendo cover the wii if it does get a virus and it is non-modded
