i think the memory is not bad however it does depend on the games and the saves

and a 2gb card isnt really that expensive.

the will would have to be bigger to hold the hdd so it would be less aestheticly pleasing

Might not have to be bigger! An 16 gb usb drive was launched fairly recently- that could easily have in Flash NAND built into the console, as the ATI graphics card, and other components can now be made smaller, and possibly slightly quicker (like Ds to ds lite)

i think it's a bit bigger 'cos there is bigger SD-cards (other then those for wii) that is like 4 GB and 8 GB, then wii should be able to have bigger too right?

The memory is no problem so far but w8 until wii homebrew. It's like with the first xbox 8-10gig to save music and game save's on. Thats allot, but after i got my xbox moded the 10gig was nothing. The same thing will be with the wii. You need to spend allot of money on vc to fill up the space.
