Well you can go to http://www.speedtest.net/ to find out. then post yours. My internet is suppose to get upgraded soon, so I'm not sure if this is the upgraded speed or the normal speed, but here it is.

I've seen it quite worst. No really. I'm a moderator on another site and this one guy who we had to ban because of flaming in just about every post, he had around 10mbps which is the worst I've ever seen. I think his slow connection could be the reason he was so angry all the time, but at least you can connect to games, but there is a problem now. When I play combat arms it says connecion with server has ended and the game just closes.

I did a speed test on all my pcs and it says my lap top gets faster up loads and faster downloads than my desk tops and my L T is wireless so I dont think its giveing a true reading

so what's the problem here? 9Mb/s is quite good. But the 'surfing' speed is not the same as this pure download speed. When you surfe, you contact different servers from all around the world, so the feeling about the speed is not quite as good as when you download a large file from a single source.
