Use your best judgement, if you are offeneded by something that has happend be a human and tell the other person that you did not like what they said and ask if they would please refrain talking like that around you.
If this does not solve the problem ask others or an admin to help you settle the problem.
Yes freedom of speech does cover this. This is a free world, common sence is not always the same from person to person.
