Will EVE online gain new players due to Dust 514?

E3 has shown is that the PS3 will have an exclusive called Dust 514. Now the juicy part here is that it will operate in the same universe as EVE online. And that the games are totally connected. Players from Eve online (PC MMO) will send players from Dust 514 (PS3 game) on missions.

So with this kind of connectivity, do you think it will draw in a good number of new players to EVE?

I really do wonder how they will implement Dust. Planets are currently used for PI (Planetary Interaction), and is not like i would be willing to pay people to protect my extractors.
I am not really fond of the dust idea, especially because of the fact that it is console only. I really wonder what will happen to our awesome EVE universe.
