Asperger Syndrome

Just want to let everyone know that I've got Asperger Syndrome, hence the title of the topic.
It's not something seriously bad, even though it's a disability of sorts. I'm posting this here so
that you all know about this.

I've also included a couple links to the definitions of each of the two words.

A bit about me: while on computer, I tend to click with the mouse almost all the time (it's almost quite funny, too).

yarg! disabled is not the correct term. it's differently abled. (well if it isn't, it should be). i know a lot about aspergers and the autism sepctrum. im assuming your obsession is something to do with computers? (for those who don't know, most people with autism/aspergers obsess over one particular subject like history or computers or cars, etc. and are really good at it.) if that is the case, we have a lot in common.

yes, he was most likely (its been a while since i saw that movie) autistic. rain man is another case of autism in movies.

Well sorry to hear you have that, but obviously you're coping, and that's good.
So are you a mathematical genius? I've heard some (or most?) have much greater mathematical skills.

Well you dont seem that bad, my younger brother has it and his bad behaiver is his obsession.

The cube? i've seen the movie "the sphere" and heard of the book "the sphere", but never read it. but the cube?

The one thing that I find annoying about my disorder is when some noise (such as loud chattering) is going on whilst someone is talking to me, what that person is saying will just fly out the other ear and I'll end up hearing just the noise going on.

In real life, I'm the silent type (mostly 'cause whenever I attempt to speak, someone else interupts me; probably 'cause I've got bad instincts for conversations, meaning I have difficulty finding a good opportunity to speak whenever someone else is talking to someone else).

I think I rather have that than my disability to start a conversation. (For those who don't know: I suck in starting a conversation. This also shows on forums, my threads are most of the time not a success)
